How do I extract mac-ipod music onto pc?

I have an ipod formatted for a mac but when I sold the mac I forgot to take the music with me. It's all on my ipod but I now have a pc. If I want to use it again it seems I have to wipe all the music on my ipod. I don't want to do this because I have over 2000 songs on it and that's the only copy I've got. Are there any programs I can use to extract the music? Please don't send nonsense that you know doesn't work - such as sharepod; it's only for ipods formatted to pc already.

Have you tried Tuneaid?





I'm not sure if it supports Mac to PC extraction. As Mac has different format, which PC cannot recognized.





You might be needing Macdrive, too.
