How do i make my pc faster?

hi,i am having a problem that is my pc is very slow and my internet takes along time to load.what can i do to make it faster? How do i make my pc faster?
buy a new comp with higher specsHow do i make my pc faster?
Looks like the same problem I have.

1) clear all your internet history

2) do a virus sweep with a virus scanner

3) clean out your viruses or spyware

4) defrag the computer

5) if that doesn't work then save all the things you need to save and gut the computer. then reinstall windows or get someone else to do it.
download glary utilities an run a 1 click system maintenance scan, once this is done download auslogics disk defragger, run that an defragment ur drive, if its still slow now stop all unecessary processes from running, still slow u can assume it's probably ur modem/router or net connection itself that's the prob not ur PC
from hardware you must see your memory and core clock of CPU, so when you want you can upgraded it, from software you can use TUNE UP utilities 2010... this can make your PC in best performance, and ALWAYS MAINTENANCE YOUR PC PLEASE....
The cheapest answer is to save the files you want to keep, gather the discs for the programs you want to have, re format your drives and start again. If you've had your computer for any length of time, you probably have a bloated unfit computer that wheezes with the strain of carrying around (and trying to process) so much unnecessary stuff.

Get more RAM

Learn to overclock (think souping up a car engine, yeah it will go faster but it will probably fail earlier too.)

Reinstall your OS and don't take all the options, just the ones you need.

Get a better internet provider.

Defrag and disk clean.

Get faster drives.

If it's not doing your newer games well, consider a better video card.
This is a tricky one. First I'd make sure your OS is relatively up to date. Make sure you have at the oldest, Windows XP. Also make sure you have the latest service pack. As well as that, you need to check your specs. What's your processor? RAM? Sometimes it's on a sticker on the PC, sometimes you can check it by going to Start%26gt;Right click on My Computer/Computer%26gt;Properties%26gt;Check from there.

If your Processor is out of date or RAM is low your PC will be slow - It may be worthwhile to buy some more RAM to install (for desktops. For laptops, you may need a new PC).

Outside of spending money and upgrades, here's some practical tips:

-Web browser - What's your browser? Internet Explorer? If it's the big 'e' with a swirl you click on to use the web, you're using Internet Explorer. I'd recommend you upgrade to Firefox - This will save a LOT of time and it's free. Google Firefox. Download and install, then click the Firefox logo to use the Internet instead of the big 'e'. It works the same but it's a lot faster.

-History, cookies, cache - Depending on your browser these can be cleared (emptied) in different ways. Google it for more info.

-Lots of programs open at once - How many programs do you have open at any one time? Unless your PC is powerful (quad core, 2-6GB RAM) I wouldn't recommend it - It slows your PC down and makes you prone to crashes.

-Internet connection - Are you on dialup or Broadband? Broadband is a lot faster and simpler. Dialup is very unreliable, slow and complicated. Check with your Internet provider (Virgin, Tiscali, TalkTalk, etc) for details on that and other options.

Hope I helped.
Download the latest version of SystemMechanic from www.iolo.com.

It has 30 days trial version and with it you can disable your startup programs, defragment your diskdrives, defragment and recover main memory, remove registry junks, remove viruses and spywares, and ...
First determine whether it's you computer that slow or your internet connection that's slow. You can't fix one problem by working on the other one, and we don't know which one to tell you to work on.
actually you just need to downlaod iToolSoft PC Speeduper, it will boost your PC speed up to a normal level, u neednt buy a new computer
