I am currently using a corded modem that receives signals and what not from my cable provider and i have one ethernet cable connecting the pc and the modem. I am planning on getting xbox live and do not wish to disconnect my pc from the internet every time i am on xbox live. Is there another method of connecting my pc to the internet? If there is i would greatly appreciation it.How can i connect both my xbox 360 and Desktop PC to the internet without a wireless modem?
there should be more than one ethernet port on your modem. Get another ethernet cable and connect both at the same time.
