How do you transfer pictures from a phone to a pc?

Im trying to transfer pictures from a motorola razor to my pc with a cord that plugs into the phone and plugs into the pc (looks like that end is usb obviously). any quick help appreciated.How do you transfer pictures from a phone to a pc?

easy way would be to email the pic to yourself (from your phone to you email) and then save it from there.
