What is the PC program where you can plug your guitar into your PC and add different pedals and effects?

I saw my friend using it but didn't get to ask him. He had his guitar pluged into his pc and was adding a wah pedal and a delay and all sorts of effects pedals. The pedals show up right on the screen and you could click on them and stuff. I just want to know what its called lol. And how to get it.What is the PC program where you can plug your guitar into your PC and add different pedals and effects?
I have that program--M-Audio Fast Track. It's a little box you plug into your computer, and then you plug your guitar into the box. However, I have yet to find out how to add the effects...anyway, it only costs around $50 and you can find it on any music store website. Note: you can only listen to your guitar with headphones, the program doesn't work with a sound card.What is the PC program where you can plug your guitar into your PC and add different pedals and effects?
It might be either guitar hero or rock band... prob rock band since it has the pedals. Good luck finding it!
