How can I make certain applications on my PC to select between the network adapters?

I have 2 network adapters on my PC, each connected to a different network with its own DNS gateways and proxy settings. I want IE to use 1 adapter and Firefox to use the other. Any suggestions?How can I make certain applications on my PC to select between the network adapters?
Well since your on two proxy gateways, just set your browsers up for the proxy settings.
